You are invited to a lively discussion group about transitions in life on August 7, 14 and 21, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. between the two services on Sunday. No prior reading is required; handouts will include readings from the Bible, the book Falling Upward and other sources, discussion points, and prayers. You
may come to any of the sessions because each is independent of the others.

We will discuss the changes that we experience during our lives. You may have experienced graduating from school, changes in your family situation, or retiring. You may be anticipating going to college, starting a different career, or moving to a different place. We all experience pains and joys during these times.

Please come and share some of your experiences and listen to the experiences of younger and older participants.

Isaiah 46:4 says "I will still be the same when you are old and gray, and I will take care of you.  I created you. I will carry you and always keep you safe."

For many years, our church has had a nursing home ministry with a purpose to live the words of Isaiah - to spread the Gospel and share the Eucharist with those who are elderly, infirmed, and unable to attend church.  We believe in sharing the Love of Jesus with the residents and day care participants with music, scripture, and lots of love and smiles.

Our service to these special residents is held at 10:00 a.m., on the second Monday of every month at Sagepoint Senior Living Center (formerly Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center).

If you would like to help and be a blessing in this ministry, please contact Joan Crittenden or Margaret Leman.

Welcome to the website of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Although we have been in Southern Maryland since 1754,
we believe God is still speaking and moving in the world today.

We don't claim to have all the answers,
nor are we here to tell you how and what to think.

We are convinced that as we gather to worship, pray, and walk alongside one another as a community,
we experience a foretaste of the unending love and peace awaiting us all.
It would be our privilege to be with you on the journey.
